TIL Google maps works with my local bus network thing to show how to easily get to places via multiple buses… and it has a Live Activity integration with iOS. This is sooo useful. Idgaf that it’s Google.
I always assumed Jersey would be like 15 years behind in this stuff…!
i wonder what the net % charge lost on iPhones is by doing stuff like correcting ‘magic keyboard’ to ‘Magic Keyboard’ just for their own devices - since they started doing this
rip. iOS 26 beta 3 is waaaaaaaay less transparent. It’s more readable, ik, but I loved beta 1 & 2 - beta 3 is just making them less clear. Even a slider to “choose your translucency” would be nice.
The Browser Company posted a new video about the Sidebar in Dia, but I just find it weird that this one feature seems to be so big since it’s less than Arc had. Doesn’t seem like you can pin tabs or put them in folders or anything..
Was clearing through storage on my iPhone just by deleting apps I don’t use in Settings > iPhone Storage. It’s ridiculous how hot it is. I doubt iOS 26 will help at all, but I hope they fix this.
Saw this but still lost 2% after using the app to take one photo 😭
idkkk… the app is cool, but the photos still come out looking super plasticky when you zoom in (at least from what I’ve tried in multiple environments)
i still think the best way to listen to music, play a game, etc.. is to have your OWN files. there’s something satisfying about having all the mp3s on your computer/phone or whatever and just pick a music player.. no geostrictions or enshittifcation possible!
What’s a good place to start with apple shortcuts? It feels like they’re either FAR too simple they they’re useless, or they’re too complex that you need to understand coding and APIs etc 💀💀
Did Apple ever breakdown which features of Apple Intelligence run on-device vs in Private Cloud Compute?
Writing tools on my iPhone feels too quick to be on-device (after running actual LLMs on-device and comparing), and it doesn’t feel warm, but after like 2 mins of making Genmoji it gets hot..
Funniest thing is millennials making up terms like “lol” “iirc” etc so they could fit them in their 140-character tweets in 2009, then not understanding how far Gen Z has taken it by 2025 😏
YouTube music’s algorithm is surprisingly good.. I’m just leaving it on and it’s playing decent songs I’ve not heard before. I guess unsurprising since it probably plugs into my YouTube history that’s built up over years.
